Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis has said the unhindered flow of increased humanitarian aid to Gaza and the restoration of critical infrastructure is essential in a meeting with the prime minister of the Palestinian Authority, Mohammed Mustafa, as part of his tour of the Middle East.
Gerapetritis told Mustafa, who is also Palestinian foreign minister, that Greece has taken a leading role in the EU in strengthening the institutions of the Palestinian Authority by providing expertise and support.
Earlier, Gerapetritis met with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa’ar, and discussed “regional developments and the strengthening of strategic cooperation between Greece and Israel.”
