Russia deactivates S-400 system in Syrian city after S-300 installation: report

A new satellite image of Syria’s S-300 system has revealed that Russia has deactivated their Russian S-400 systems in Syria were deactivated.
Just south of the #Russian S-300’s which are being provided to #Syria sit 4 x S-400 TELs and appropriate Radar System (92N6). Noted back in 2017 these TELs were erected and “operational”. They now sit under nets. pic.twitter.com/ZBQL6uGFNv

As shown in the image above, the Russian S-400 missile system has been deactivated in the Syrian city of Masyaf.
The reason for its deactiviation is likely due to the recent installation of Syria’s S-300 system near the Russian S-400 in Masyaf.
Late last month, it was revealed that Syria had completed its installation of their S-300 system, following its delivery on October 1, 2018.
