The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America will host an event focusing on homelessness. The event will feature a panel discussion that will address homelessness in the world today, and discuss practical ways people can help alleviate this crisis.
After the panel discussion there will be a Service Opportunities Fair, where attendees can learn more about the organizations providing services and opportunities to volunteer and get involved. The organizations will offer religious and secular opportunities.

WHY: The event is part of the new initiatives of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese on homelessness. The event is focused on providing an opportunity to learn about the crisis of homelessness in the United States of America, and specifically in New York City, while offering practical ways to respond to homelessness, through advocacy and volunteering, in the New York City metro area.
